Terms of Use
Effective October 4, 2026
The short version
- Use TechSheets worksheets with your own students — print them, copy them, share them in your class's private LMS.
- Please don't post them publicly, share them with other teachers, or resell them. Colleagues can get their own free account.
- Free accounts get 5 downloads a month. Premium is $2.99/month, renews automatically, and you can cancel anytime from your account page.
- One free account per person.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Use govern your use of TechSheets (techsheets.dev), operated by Nicholas D. West Tech LLC ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using TechSheets, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use TechSheets.
2. Accounts
- Accounts are for adults — teachers, parents, school staff and other educators. You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live. Students do not need an account to use a printed worksheet.
- Give accurate information and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for activity on your account; tell us right away if you think someone else has used it.
- One free account per person. Creating extra accounts to get more free downloads, or signing up with a disposable email address, is not allowed, and we may block or merge such accounts.
3. Free plan
A free account includes 5 worksheet downloads per calendar month across every grade band and topic. The allowance resets at the start of each month; unused downloads do not carry over. We may change the free allowance in the future and will show the current limit on our pricing page.
5. How you may use our materials
When you download a TechSheets resource, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it for teaching.
You may
- Print and copy it for the students you teach, in as many of your own classes as you like.
- Share it with your own students through a password-protected learning system, such as Google Classroom, Schoology or Canvas.
- Use it with your own children at home, including homeschooling.
You may not
- Share it with other teachers, a whole school or a district — each teacher needs their own account, or a school/district license.
- Post it anywhere public, including websites, blogs, shared drives open to others, or file-sharing sites.
- Sell, resell, or include it in anything you sell or distribute, even if you modify it.
- Remove or cover our watermarks, branding or copyright notices.
- Use it to train, build or improve artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
Resources bought on Teachers Pay Teachers are covered by the license terms of that platform.
6. Ownership
TechSheets, its worksheets, lesson slides, graphics and other materials are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright and other laws. The license above is the only right you receive; everything else is reserved. Our worksheets feature real innovators, companies and products for educational purposes; this does not imply their endorsement, and their names and trademarks belong to their owners.
7. Reviews
If you post a rating or review, it is public, and you are responsible for it. You keep ownership of what you write and give us a worldwide, royalty-free license to display it on TechSheets. Keep reviews honest and relevant, and do not include personal information. We may remove reviews that are abusive, misleading, off-topic or unlawful.
8. Acceptable use
Please do not:
- Get around the free download limit, for example with multiple or throwaway accounts.
- Scrape, bulk-download, or use bots or automated tools to copy TechSheets content.
- Try to break, probe or overload the site, or access accounts or data that are not yours.
- Use TechSheets for anything unlawful, or to harm or harass anyone.
9. Advertising and third parties
Free-plan members and visitors who are not signed in may see ads; Premium members do not. TechSheets relies on third-party services, including Stripe for payments and Google for sign-in and advertising; your use of those services is also subject to their terms. How we and they handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy. Links to other websites are provided for convenience, and we are not responsible for their content.
10. About our content
We work hard to make our materials accurate and age-appropriate, but they are general educational resources. Please review them before use and apply your own professional judgment about what suits your students. Materials that discuss feelings or wellbeing are not a substitute for help from a school counselor or other qualified professional.
11. Disclaimers
TechSheets is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise that the site will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of TechSheets. Our total liability for any claim relating to TechSheets is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $50. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
13. Suspension and termination
You can stop using TechSheets at any time, and ask us to delete your account as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, for example by abusing the free allowance or sharing materials against the license. If we close a paid account for reasons other than a breach of these terms, we will refund the unused portion of the current billing period.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the effective date above, and if a change is material we will let account holders know by email or on the site before it takes effect. Continuing to use TechSheets after that means you accept the updated terms.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which Nicholas D. West Tech LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the consumer protection laws of the place where you live.
